A seven years old of my friend commented that the Prince rescues the Princess and the Witch saves oneself, if one is able to. That is why it is a risky road, as only few have faith enough leading out of the Wilderness.

Vampires have conquered the hollywoodian mythos as these creatures have their representatives in real world, them being narcissists who cripple mental state of their nearest ones. Vampire stories handle our collective need to understand people without conscience. Beneath the horror of the ruthlessness is unfulfilled need to be faced with mercy and sadly that seems to be collective wound as well. A modern anti-hero is a Godless psychopath, without ability to meet any one with compassion, but mere consuming the energy of human intimacy and affection. Vampires do not love, as only we humble humans do love.

I tend to tell these to myself while waiting something unfamiliar to happen and trying to devise a way to avoid that as it might be appalling and anyhow loosing the total control is that, frightening I mean. Deducing those apparently reasonable truths I rationalize how hope to survive is vain and nevertheless surviving doesn’t mean more than settling for the least minimum and shallow breathing but still in constant concern.

Really the nearer I let some one the lighter it goes: burning and illuminating. The dearer some one is the braver I grow in cherishing that connection.

And

yes, I know that I sway like a Christmas decoration and amuse most of my friends and loved one.

Those ostensibly nicer and easier solutions I have made have  nearly always tighter the deadlock of my situation and led even harder solutions if any. Now I am about to face some of my vital needs and meet them or die not minding the resistance, nor the costs, nor the pain

minding to survive, even if the lost freedom is the grief of the bondmaid.

The old Goddesses of Love tended also to be Goddesses of War. I wonder if we humans have evolved from those ancient themes but only pretend violence is something we have banished from our comfortable way of adapting everyday, urban niche. For e.g. if we look deeper in the eyes of that that mellow, pastel green world saving idealism,  we find it is filled with arrogant western paradigm of trying to avoid the final battle of Ragnarök or to win that or simplier: we want to control our destiny.

Every country has an army: either an own or a foreign. Alike every woman has her weaponry and either she uses them to protect what she loves or let somebody else eat her alive.

In this first day after the All Hallows’ Eve as the new year of the Old Ways and witches have just begun, I wish there would be something invaluable in your life, in such a profound manner it would be worth fighting, dying and wishing for.
